Each automated function has online help that includes a review of the concept or algorithm, examples, and the calling sequence of the function. Several other user-friendly options and features, such as error recovery and undo, are also included. Included in the software is a collection of demos that show how to use the automated functions. Students can go through the demonstration mode of these functions, in a self-paced manner, to learn the details of the underlying concept. The demonstration mode and the interactive mode act to some extent as an "intelligent electronic tutor". The automated functions can be accessed from the main menu or from each unit menu. The main menu includes an index for all the functions. Each unit menu includes the automated functions relevant to the unit. Examples regarding the features and use of the functions can be accessed either from the main menu or from each unit menu. The following packages are included:
